I don’t know about you but when it’s a cold, rainy November, I start thinking about happier, sunnier times. And the happiest, sunniest time I know, is Pride. So, here’s a little winter warmer for those of you craving rainbow flags, queer joy and sunshine.
Breaking Binaries shot this mini doucumentary (2.5 mins) at Brighton Pride 2022. We wanted to know why Pride is important to you. Yes, there’s the party side, the dancing, the flirting, the celebration, and all of that is SO needed and important.
But, it’s vital to think about the bigger picture and remember those who aren’t as free to love the way they want to love. We also wanted to help the cis-heterosexual world understand why we still need this, why it’s so “bloody important”, and why Pride will always be more than just a party.
